Artefashion Mexico
Handmade Mexican folk art: sacred hearts, crosses and more

The heart of Mexico, in every corner of the world.

Our story

I'm Italian-Mexican. I was born and raised in Mexico, and in my early twenties I moved to Italy. There, far from home, I understood something that would change my path: I could bring my Mexican culture to a country that still had so much to discover about Mexico, and with it, more color and more tradition to the world.

Mexico and Italy both have rich cultures, and Italy still had so much of mine to discover. That's how Artefashion Mexico was born: from the wish to share the beauty of Mexican folk art with those who still had much to discover about my country.

From Mexico to Italy, and to the world

I opened my first shop in 2018, in Italy. Over time the project grew, I moved to California, and here I keep the same dream as always: to bring the heart of Mexico to every corner of the world, one piece at a time.

Handmade all across Mexico

Our pieces are born in the workshops of artisans from all across Mexico, who work with traditional techniques and materials: hand-cut and embossed tin, carved wood, ceramic and gold leaf. There are no machines producing them in bulk; there are people, craft and patience behind each one.

Helping so it's not forgotten

What fulfills me most about this work is that, by sharing these pieces, I directly help the artisan communities that make them, communities that over time have been slipping into oblivion. Every piece that finds a new home helps keep this craft, and the traditions around it, from being lost or disappearing. When you choose one of our pieces, you're part of that too.

Every piece is unique

Like everything handmade, no two pieces are identical. The small differences in color and finish are not a defect: they are the mark of the artisan who made it, and they are exactly what makes Mexican folk art special. You receive a one-of-a-kind work, with its own personality.

Thank you for giving our art a place in your home, and for helping us keep a tradition alive.
